Immigrating to another country splits your heart in half. And after a while, you become too foreign for the home you left, and also too foreign for the home you found.

Guys who pretend to be korean men here are really pathetic. I can even recognize the pattern.

No one will care about you as much as yourself, not even your family/best friend/partner. So you can be selfish in certain things. Be selfish in getting enough rest, be selfish in having time to yourself, be selfish in picking the right people.

What we probably need right now is the courage to be disliked. And yet, our need to be loved, for others approval make us take knife to our souls, to sculpt an idealized version of ourselves. And that's why we're always unhappy and in pain.

Know your worth, and never settle for less than you deserve.
