I wish I had time to read a silly sci-fi, I've been aching for fiction! On the non-fiction side, though...while I know you're not a feminist or female, might I recommend an autobiography of Stanton? Reading about her life, and the things she did, it's always made me feel like we're not machines. We fight for what we want and what we feel we deserve, not because we're told to, but because we all want to be equal. Meh, I don't know. Otherwise, although you're Canadian, anything about Andrew Jackson is a good read.
