went to bed at 2100 hrs...woke up about 20 minutes ago thinking it was 0500.... it's not! life here is pretty good.did I tell you? ....I got a call from the chief, and E-6 (my company) and the 12's have been selected this year for "flag duty" at the gay pride celebration.­­...everyone­ is grumbling, and I am telling them to knock it off...we show up, we hold the flag (between 2 hook and ladders) and the we go home...chief­­ says no getting out of it..and I told my squad that if I hear any more complaining,­­ I am going to have them stand in front of the flag...they shut up pretty quickly...ot­­her than that, everything is status quo...

Things are pretty good, the past few days have been a bit warmer which is great! Sick of winter and it hasn't even come around yet...
