In Cabo Verde they speak Portuguese-Creole which is the primary language in Cabo Verde. It's considered creole because the dialect has an African/French sound to it.

Yes it is more difficult than English, it has several bends in the time and manner of the person. In addition to conjugate verbs with many exceptions, I believe it is as difficult as French.
