I have them both as well, to varying degress. Fairly minor in comparison to most people, but when triggered, I'm pretty useless (but that seems to be a rather normal occurance, so maybe it's not the anxiety/trauma's fault : P)

Yeah, I think that is a fairly accurate generalization. I think it's the amount and frequency of those feelings that makes it more of a problem to some folk though.

Yeah. It's really frustrating especially when you are dealing with a possible older, conservative generation, because half the time they aren't willing to understand the concepts that your gender entails. They just see things in a very black and white way...

Or at least that has been my experience.

And you're not :) I understand where you're coming from. From what I can tell, the trans* community on here seems to be pretty sparse, unfortunately... :/ So, it's really nice to find someone who understands, even if our identities aren't the same :)

It's always tragically heartbreaking (life ruining) when they do that in front of people you know, let alone strangers. I sympathize :(
