I cannot sing at all no haha and I usually don’t bring it camping because we’re already tight on space and also it could get damaged easily too. I mostly just play at home, or back home at my parents because my brother loves to watch and hear me play.
Do you have any siblings?

What are some of your top favorite songs? Is it all stuff I’ve heard of or do you have artists from your country that you like as well?

Ah not many people have it’s a lesser known film that I only saw in my film class. It’s a Spanish film by Almodovar. It’s about like trans people though and it doesn’t have a traditional Hollywood plot line so I don’t know how you would feel about that subject or type of film.

I will like up their films, what is one of your favorites by them so I can check it out?

In 10 years I should be a resident surgeon or maybe working with biomedical engineering again. Maybe in 15-20 I’ll have a small town urgent care/normal practice somewhere rural and have my own ranch on the side.

Maybe we wouldn’t run out so fast if we didn’t have 12,000 conversations going on at once hahah :)
No specific travel destinations right now, but I’d like to go where there’s clear ocean water, and that vibrant blue water. Maybe in Tahiti or something where they have those little lodges right on the water. I’d also like to see the northern lights and visit Canada for some reason.. maybe to see the mountains. What about you?

I’m alright on guitar, I mostly play acoustic so it’s slower and repetitive most of the time anyways haha. I play a lot of country and some classic rock. Occasionally I’ll play pop-ish songs if I like them. In general I like rock, country, classics like Frank Sinatra’s and Tony Bennett.. some pop punk and other random stuff. How about yourself?

Hey that seems like art to me hah

Consumer rights, that seems like a solid plan! Hopefully it does pay off in your favor! Also I hope it’s interesting enough for you haha, you have to do so much work revolving around it!

Sorry not How I Met Your Mother, i hate that show, I meant to say All About My Mother. I was trying to text fast and wasn’t thinking straight evidently hahah. I like Pixar too and animated moves yes. I love Despicable me and Madagascar.
I’m not familiar with Studio Ghibli’s work although I googled and some of it reminds me of old cartoons I used to watch like Pokémon and another one that I can’t recall the name of

Haha that’s a better idea :)

Ah I see, well hopefully ou do end up having some free time to explore!

Haha yea there’s so many camera options but I’m pretty simple too. Phone or a little digital camera I borrow from a friend on occasion.

I’m not super creative haha but I play a little guitar. I was learning banjo from my old roommate but she moved and I don’t have a banjo haha. And I can’t draw whatsoever. What about you??

I feel ya there. On the weekend I always want to do nothing but I know it’s healthier for my mind and body to go out with friends more than anything haha. What is your master thesis on?

As for movies, I do have a lot of favorites. Tremors (1-4), guardians of the Galaxy, Grandma’s Boy, Thor, Iron Man, Pineapple Express, How I Met Your Mother, P.K.... plus many more. I’ll remember 5 minutes after sending this haha. What kind of movies/films do you like?

Exactly, that’s what got me interested in the field, the cool robots are just a bonus haha

I mean if you want to see the iconic half done then just maybe plan a day trip but if all you want to see is the sierras then you can pick so many highways that just go straight up into them. For example, I liked highway 88, it’s usually less travelled, but it’s more scenic, it has lakes, meadows, valleys to overlook and plenty of little side roads to take if you like going through the forest. It leads you to the Nevada state line(which is worth a trip across to see some gorgeous ranch lands, and a loop back through the Lake Tahoe area if you want) but right before that there is a big open valley called Hope Valley. Hope valley has a great fly fishing river, it has a side road that leads to 2 rural lakes (where I’ve seen lots of bears and deer) but like I said there are so many ways you can see the sierras so even you want a different kind of destination we can figure something else too for you too!

Oh wow, that sounds cool. what kind of event is it, if you don’t mind my asking.

Yea I take photos sometimes, not sure if I’m quite qualified as a photographer 😆 occasionally they come out good though! Since you’re a traveler and also a journalist I would guess you enjoy photography too? Never mind I see it below now. Do you just do iPhone shooting or are you really into nice cameras or film or anything?

Nice, do you do a lot of weekend drive trips around Switzerland? What brought you to Switzerland anyways?
Yea I’m not too into parties either haha, good to get together with friends but I like a relaxing good time rather than a crazy party

Honestly, it’s that I haven’t been interested in too much yet, I really liked biomedical engineering. I liked working with really incredible technology, such as robotic arms. So I halfway hope to pursue that but also my original plan was to open my own practice in a rural place..so I have to figure stuff out still haha. Hopefully I start liking more of the med school topics soon.

Ah I can imagine court being really redundant haha
The fjords sound beautiful, hopefully one day I can travel more again. Yellowstone is beautiful but such a tourist trap/overrun with civilization.. so plan your trip carefully!

That’s awesome I hope you have a great time in New York. Do you have anything in particular you want to see there or the usual tourist sites?

Besides bmx, and fishing of course, I like going on adventures around coastal areas, camping on rural beaches, exploring the redwood forests. All with friends of course, they make it a lot of fun too.
What else do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I see, yea they have a very extensive program here to become a doctor, I’m surprised so many people actually survive it and come out sane haha

Ah legal counsel sounds mellow, I didn’t realize some lawyers don’t enter the courtroom at times

No actually I haven’t made it to Europe, I always took cheaper trips to Central America or some pacific island areas haha. Mostly I travel around the region I’m living now. Up the coast and what not.

Do you still travel a lot, even with school or not since before you started at this level?

It’s similar to salmon I think.
Cod and halibut are both good, I’ve never caught them myself though, definitely came from a restaurant when I had it

Well to get into medical school you need a bachelor’s degree first anyways. Most people go for biology or pre-med. I got my degree in biomedical engineering, and I thought that’s all I would do but, as I’ve gotten older I realized I want to do more for other people. i want to have meaningful work and this to me seemed meaningful. I can also still work in biomedical engineering on the side if I choose to if I don’t end up specializing in that.

Yea I have no doubt you are completely burnt out on school haha. I’m so happy for you to be almost done soon! Have you picked which side of the court room you would like to be on?

I like trout a lot, I mean I know it’s not the most decadent/highly chosen fish but I like it, there’s many good recipes to make with it. Plus I enjoy cooking it over the campfire too but that might just add nostalgia more than flavor haha
Do you have a favorite fish or meal to cook?

I am in medical school now. It’s a bit late for me (1st year in med school after earning my bachelor’s degree) but I thought it was the right decision for my life. Are still studying law or have you moved on to study game design now? Or are you done with your studies?
