Sorry for the late reply! I'm sure we can become friends. =] Yes, I do live in Long Beach, CA. CSULB would be a good choice, my younger brothers attend that University and they really enjoy it. Theres alot of fore I've never been there, I hope to travel there someday, seems like a beautiful place. Hope to hear from you soon and also wish you the best scores possible on the TOEFL exam. Take care.
and thanks! haha i dont think it's crazy, its actually what im looking to do! haha
oh ok cool, so is it kind of easy leaving there? its strange but i think the hardest part of living in a foreign country (besides language) is finding food haha. especially if the food is a lot different than in your own country. and entered university works, but i guess the most common way is "when i first started going to college". and i was in moscow too, it's an awesome and huge city. I loved St. Petersburg though, you should try to go up there if you havn't already. but hey its 5am and i gotta pass out, talk with ya soon!
haha ok, yeah because if you are an international student you will probably have trouble getting a car, and SF is one of the only cities where you dont need one. plus, it is like the main party city :]
you're living in russia? thats awesome. how do you like it? which city? i was only there once for 2 weeks :\ and i studied russian for 3 years so far but i am graduating in May. so i will be finished soon. i want to work in russia but the only thing i think i can do is teach english since im not fluent :\ but this is what i will try to do this summer)

Hey! yeah I go to San francisco state (this is how we usually say it) and yeah there are a lot of international students here, but i think most are from asia like china, japan, korea and some from the philipines. but there are people from everywhere here. I think you should choose San Francisco instead of LA. A lot of people move from LA to SF, but not many move from SF to LA ;) San francisco is much compact, so you wont need a car and i think the culture here is a lot more fun and people are friendly etc. plus there is SO MUCH variety and things to do in an area that is really not very big. and you are close enough to Tahoe to go skiing/snowboarding and only like an hour to napa valley wine region. and the weather is great i think, it is a bit cool and foggy sometimes but i love it. i guess that is san francisco's problem though. the city is a bit cold compared to LA (like 15-25 degrees here, where LA is more like 30-40 degrees). but there is a big rivalry between SF and LA :P and yeah i would love to see france, i was only there once to change flights, so i didnt really get to see much, but i liked what i saw :P
