It's harder than english, I'll tell you that. There are languages easier to learn, but there are languages that are a much bigger pain in the ***, too. XD If I were you, I'd just give it a try and see where it gets me. :)

Don't worry about the lack of replies, it's kinda normal. You get a response if you capture someone's interest, which, considering you have competition in the thousands, is not necessarily always easy. XD But you're sure to collect some friends over time. :)

I like age of empires just fine, except it's a real time game and that tends to get a bit much after a while. Civ is round based, as a chess player I prefer to take my time before I make my move, except in age of empire you have to act and adapt quickly and when the map gets too big, it's hard to keep track of everything all the time. XD I guess for some that is probably part of the fun, for me it's fun for a while but eventually becomes frustrating. Raaaaaaaaant! XD

I have tried to learn that once or twice. And failed once or twice. There is something so mystical about Portuguese....at least to me.
