I'm sorry to read that... but you shouldn't pay attention to them, at the end of the day, even if you're kind to everyone you encounter, some people were already and will stay bad people... focus on the ones you appreciate instead, it's not worth it to worry about the others

... it's not necessarily because you're a male, but some people can't afford to offer gift so when given the choice between giving to their family members or strangers, family comes first
