In some family practices, yes, but still so much better than most australian families, who do not bother to guide their children's development a d just sit them in fromt of the telly or a computer game

Do I think the western culture is better, for how we treat the elderly or asian cultures, do you mean?

I much prefer the asian cultures in most things, specifically korean respect. Not as formal as japanese people, but still polite enough to put the chinese to shame lol

Guess that is the big difference with our cultures. You could teach our young'uns a thing or two, get them to respect us codgers (old people) haha

Completely the oppsite here, kids have no respect for anyone!

Probably that is what makes asian countries more respectable tan western countries :p

Teenagers are supposed to do what their pqrents don't like, it is your life mission to anger them haha
