"No. Finland is not in the US. Finland is in Scandinavia. You Americans who really think that Finland is in the States, you probably should check your map. " --- In the US there is only the globe US, surrounded by oceans. So be indulgent to them )

How can you state you have the best Vodka? Best vodka is either Polish or Russian one. It's like to say that Germany has the best Pizza.

Well I wouldn't dare to kidnap you :P I'm definitely not one of those as you could notice xD
People get robbed at nighttime for the most part. So you just have to stay in the downtown and do not show up at the nighttime without someone's company. And so far, gratefully, none of the people I know got robbed for the last few years. It's not actually about getting robbed here. It's more about stealing money from a budget almost in a legal way. Once you're a government official and you have an access to the budget you're good to go. Make a problem that doesn't even exist and place an order for, let's say, "strengthening friendship between Jackie Chan and Mr. Putin" and let the government spend 10000000000$ on that. That's how it's done here. While there are bunch of problems officials are spending money on some non-existing problems. Well, of course they don't spend any money on that, they just take it straight to their pockets.

Tell me about it. Everything in our country was cut the lowest numbers possible. I mean there are some countries in Africa that managed to spend their budget way more effective than Russia. Basically, we can't afford anything here. The loans here are very expensive. The interest of a bank is between 25-35% a year. You get 250$ a month (an average income). The prices are the same as in Finland for the most part. So if I want to buy an apartment you have to spend 40 000$. How many years will it take for you to earn such amount of money if you continue working as an average person, legally and paying all the taxes? Approximately 400 years. Wow. How cool is that? It's in the case if you don't want to deal with banks and overpay 4 times more. And I didn't even mention buying furniture and appliances for the apartment because it would be 10 000$ more which is one hudred years more xD so that's why a lot of people are becoming criminals. Officials are the main criminals. They are corrupted and they earn legally a huge amount of money. So while my income is 250$ a month an official in state department gets 12 000$ a month officially. Not even mentioning the income they get from the bribres :P So it's quite fun to live in here. Bad asses everywhere. No stability, no future.

It is interesting if you're into risks that much. I mean Russia is all about the risks. Some people will try to manipulate you in a way, anyway so it's also about your flexibility and getting along with bastards. I can't get along with them. I can't stand those corrupted to the core officials :P All they do is manipulating people making them hate each other and getting paid for that. So I want to live in a better place, in a better country but I can't redo the current. I can't change it simply because they won't let me to. Like I told you, they would easily put me in prison or exterminate me for threating a regime. Like a lot of opposition politicans and journalists were killed. So it's risky but it also can swamp you. Once you're into that you can never stop.
